Our Mission
The University of Ottawa General Surgery Residency Training Program is a 5 year Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons accredited program. We aim to train exceptional Surgeons who will go on provide outstanding patient care, advance innovation across the clinical and non-clinical domains of General Surgery, and carry forward a deep sense of pride and professionalism in their chosen practice. We are also dedicated to treating our trainees with respect and nourishing a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
