What do you like about general surgery?
Being challenged by a wide variety of pathologies involving multiple organs and sites.
What is your sub-specialty?
In ACS and Trauma we are able to offer immediate solutions to life threatening problems.
What is your research interest?
Decision making in emergency surgery.
What do you like about this program?
Working closely with other staff and residents to share decision making on difficult problems.
What is your hope for this program?
Everyone who graduates from this program does so with a sense of pride in their training

Acute Care Surgery and Core Surgery education lead

Witnessing "light bulb" moments on a daily basis as the pieces of their training

Abdominal wall reconstruction
What is the thing you're the most proud of in your professional life?
The relationships I have built between disciplines at our centre

Hang out with family and friends
